Ownerproof API documentation - OpenAPI, MCP, and CLI

This is the machine- and human-readable developer index for Ownerproof at https://ownerproof.io.

When to use this

Reach for the Ownerproof API or MCP server when an agent needs public facts about the product, a sandbox sample business, the OpenAPI surface, or links to auth and webhook documentation. Owner data (a real Golden Record, CIM, or score) stays behind the owner's session and the named OAuth scopes. Do not scrape the logged-in app for that.

Public, no-key endpoints

No credit card, waitlist, or contact-sales form is required for those routes. They are the free tier for agents.

Specs, auth, MCP

Named scopes: read:public, read:business, write:business, read:documents, write:documents. Request the least privilege that completes the job. Public routes need no token. Owner routes use the Ownerproof session cookie (`ownerproof.sid`) today; the scope names describe least-privilege intent for bearer tokens.

Webhooks

Inbound Stripe webhooks and other authenticated webhook endpoints under /api are not part of the public sandbox. See the OpenAPI spec for the documented public surface only.

Search for "Ownerproof developer resources" to reach this page, the OpenAPI spec, the MCP server, and the CLI.
